World of Tanks Update 1.6.1 Release Date

As the Tank Festival comes to an end, World of Tanks is ready to get Update 1.6.1. Wargaming is planning on releasing the new update on October 8 for the CIS server and the following day (October 9) at the EU and NA server. Update for the ASIA server should arrive a week after.

With Update 1.6.1 a new technical change will also be deployed, the game will now have a full 64-bit client version and the location of the installation files will change. Additionally, players should expect to be able to buy tanks for bonds for the first time in-game and a Trade-In section available in the in-game shop too. More information is coming out close to the release day.
