World of Tanks Supertest: Object 277 – Tier X Soviet Heavy

2 min read

Object 277 will be introduced as Tier X heavy tank, after T-10 heavy tank. The tank started to be developed in 1956 up to 1958 as a successor for the T-10 heavy tank. It combined what was considered the best from IS-7 and T-10 into one vehicle. Two prototypes were built and tested between 1959 and early 1960. All work was stopped in the summer of 1960 due to the insufficient development of some systems and the lack of tactical and technical advantages over the heavy tank Object 770.

  1. Think it will be less than 200k, other Soviet HT are abount 160k-180k

  2. It still has the same awful terrain resistances of the IS-7, so it will be slower than the 5A (which has much better resistances with a slightly lower hp/t)

  3. Game isn’t known for its accuracy, if the T-10 was like it actually was it would be one of the best heavies in the game, the later T-10M was even more bad ***.
T-10s effective real life armor was around 300-350 and the turret was around 400 effective and even more on the t-10m because they added 30mm of raw armor the hull and an undefined amount to the turret to support its new 122mm M-62-T2 gun. Even the original T-10 had the devastating D-25TA gun, It was highly mobile as well, T-10m is still a valid tank in modern times but it sadly couldn’t beat the rapidly developing Russian mediums with the T-62 going into service the T-10m didn’t last much longer after that

  4. 1959 to 1960 I thought this was a ww2 tank game. you got tigers going against modern era tanks.

  5. The game was never a WWII game, if it was we would never have tanks from before that period, neither after…
