Winter Marathon 2021: What vehicle can you expect?
2 min readIt’s that time of the year, where we expect the last marathon of the year and after we got Holiday Ops and 2021 is no different from other years. The Winter Challenge should start next week, possibly under a new name, from November 26 to the early hours of December 6.
Today, WOT Express announced a Russian Contributor has rumoured that the upcoming vehicle for the challenge will be the Tier VIII French Premium medium tank AltProto AMX 30, and this matches the information I’ve received a few weeks ago. It also goes in line with what is available to be launched, at the moment only two vehicles are ready to be released during Update 1.14.1, the French AltProto AMX 30 or the Russian K-91 Version II.
If the leak is correct, you can expect the Winter Marathon to start on November 26 and should last 10 days, as all previous marathons. The challenges will be similar to other marathons, with two ways of getting the tank for free, or a nice discount if you don’t complete all 10 stages.
Expect to grind between 240,000 to 260,000 Experience, or you could put your skill to the test with the skilled missions. Of course, each stage will have its own rewards plus a 10% discount on the overall price of the tank. Complete all 10 stages and you can get the tank and all its rewards for free. The rewards should include similar goodies as previous ones, but no 3D style as far as I know.
