Update 1.21.1: Changes to Vehicles (Fix for Japanese TDs + Four New Release-Ready Tanks!)
3 min readA couple of unreleased vehicles received some changes to their characteristics in the Update 1.21.1 files, along with a small batch of new vehicles being made ready for release. Furthermore – and perhaps most notably – a couple of the 🇯🇵
Japanese tank destroyers received an important fix, adjusting their module damage to match their gun calibres (previously, their module damage output was too low by mistake). Now, they should deal module damage consistent for their respective gun calibres:
VIII 🇯🇵Ho-Ri 2
Firepower: Gun 2/2 – 12 cm Gun Type 10 (Top)

AP shells: from 150 to
165 - Module damage with special
AP shells: from 150 to165 - Module damage with
HE shells: from 150 to165
IX 🇯🇵Ho-Ri 1

Gun 2/2 – 14.9 cm Gun Type 96 (Top)

The tier X 🇯🇵Ho-Ri 3 had the correct module damage values since its initial release, and thus, did not require this fix.

It is not yet known exactly when/where this vehicle will appear, but it is likely to show up sometime before the full line of 🇬🇧
British wheeled mediums is introduced in Update 1.22.
IX 🇸🇪UDES 03 Alt 3
General:
- Changed vehicle classification: from “Promotional” to “Premium”
- Added tank tag: “Earning
bonds” - Removed tank tags: “Secret”, “Unique” and “Tested”.
- Tank value in gold: from 100 to 11,600
It is not yet known exactly when/where this vehicle will appear. Furthermore, I am unsure whether the vehicle has been covered here since it was previously changed on Supertest, so here is a link to the vehicle’s full stats on tanks.gg as of Update 1.21.1: https://tanks.gg/tank/udes-03-3
Additionally, the X 🇨🇳Monkey King received a small change in Update 1.21.1 — the short name for the vehicle was shortened to simply “King“.
