Supertest: Object 703 Version II – Full Details
2 min readWorld of Tanks players weren’t that surprised that double-barrel guns were coming to the game, what is a surprise is the fact the new Soviet heavy tank Object 703 Version II is already in the Update 1.6.1 Common Test files.
The general characteristics of the vehicle aren’t much different from the one in Supertest, but nonetheless it allows us to get a full view of what is to come. On a side note, Wargaming is also using the same vehicle to test a double 100 mm gun, meaning that we could see a double-barrel tank equipped with two 100 mm guns. Reload time, double-shot preparation and reload lock time are all shorter when compared with the 122 mm guns.
For now, we get to see the Premium Tier VIII Object 703 Version II with two 122 mm guns. Please be aware that stats in-game don’t show yet the double-barrel info, so keep in mind that it takes 3.5s to prepare a double-shot, after used both guns are locked for 7 seconds, and if you decide to use the guns as single, it takes 5 seconds to change between guns.

So it’s remarkably similar to the IS3/IS3A without the pike nose. One thing I hadn’t noticed was that the overmatchable forehead is way larger to accommodate both guns, so it has a pretty big weak spot compared to the other two.
Hmm, I don’t think it’s different enough from an IS3A and it looks too plain, maybe if it gets a special event/skin like the Skoda T27 I might consider it. I do like the IS3/A play style, they are pretty good all-rounders and the A has the ridiculous autoloader.
Maybe the Dpm should go up to 1800-1900 ?
its a tier 8 autoshotgun tank…DPM isn’t its selling point.
We dont need this stupid mechanic.
This is fine. Nowhere close to the broken mechanic like arty.
True
Why do I have the terrible feeling, that this tank will be the “reworked” Kirovets-1…. The gun, engine and radio names are the same, the tank platform is the same.
It is a Kirovets-1 tank at the moment. So it’s not surprising you “think” it is 😀
It’s just a test bed. WG would never miss a chance to sell a premium tank by remaking it into something else.
So in every aspect this is a better IS-3…?
lol arty QQ it’s literally a nutless cl*** at this point yet stupid little **** cunt bitch boys get their knickers twisted. Please uninstall the game you nose picking butt sniffing tard.
yea I was the first to point it out as such. it for sure is
