Supertest: Bat-Chatillon 25 t Changes
2 min readOne of the most awaited tanks to be converted into HD, Bat-Chatillon 25 t it’s currently being rebalanced on Supertest Server. Update 9.20 will finally bring this vehicle in HD but it will be a different from what we currently have in-game. The objective is to make it different from it’s heavy counter part, current Supertest is also testing the possibility of role change to this vehicle.
The gun changes will increase the comfort of firing thanks to better aiming parameters, but will significantly decrease the chances of destroying same-tier mediums with one magazine.
The intention is to make the vehicle more comfortable, reducing the cost of mistakes when engaging enemies – missing one shell out of six will be less punishing than with 5-shell clip. Moreover, the reload time between shells and reload time of the entire clip will be decreased, which will give opportunity to effectively use the firepower potential of the tank.
Improved accuracy and aiming time will not only make it easier to shoot, but will potentially influence survival rate, since the time required for a shot will be decreased and the tank will correspondingly be less under opponent’s fire.

Hang on a minute before you all continue freaking out about an alpha nerf. Note all the buffs it gets gun handling, better reload stats extra round in the mag… then note they are also considering role change… you know what that must mean right? Possibly becoming a tier 10 LT , with these stats but then that also means on the move camo.. from where I sit that looks like an overall buff if you play it right. Sure it wont have the ability to fully clip tier 10s from full health but on the other hand with those other stats you could probably kill more tanks late game per clip.
Still the supertest but wg, listen to us, this is a very bad idea

You’ve never played a BC have you? A – They already have a tier X LT. B – The BC already has a unique role. How is giving a tier X tank a tier 8 gun anything but a nerf? The BC role of flanking ******in will be crippled by having a pew pew gun with a trash prem round.

I sense a major nerf coming to type 5 and maus armor from the looks of the batchat’s premium rounds. With that pen, it won’t contest any super heavy from the front.

What struck me immediately when I read the new gunstats is that it will probably push you to go full gold (I doubt that prem rounds with this low pen will be heat… it will be something like apcr/gold apcr). So, a tank that most ppl currently run no gold will push you to go full gold. I see a pattern here, this is what almost all recent WG “balance” changes are all about – to make you spend more… Because lets face it, Batchat doesnt need any changes appart from HD model.

They do this due to prem people that complain being unable to penetrate tier x frontally. So they loosen the gap with tier 8 tm x. Pay to win.. defender owners should cry even more

The BC25t can do 1950 dmg in 13,7 seconds (dpm 8540) which is fun for bc drivers and **** for all other people. This is an broken mechanic. Its being fixed now luckily

The only way it can unload for 13.7 seconds is if you are an idiot and have isolated yourself. Otherwise a bat chat that tries to stay still to aim for 13.7 seconds is a dead batchat.

Did I miss something? The pen only went down from 259 to 252. Also I definitely wouldn’t bother buying many prem rounds with only +20mm of pen.

I am DONE WITH WOT IF THEY DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS TO MY BATCHAT! Less alpha than EITHER the Light tank OR the Czech tank which still has INFINITELY better gun handling and DPM FFS! This **** stresses me out, if it comes down to this, I am selling all my premiums for gold and use that for WOWS premium time. That or I will just cash out so to speak….
I am done if they do this to my BatChat, it is really goddamned stupid to even THINK about doing this ****. The Premium round won’t even be able to deal with the STILL OP Super Heavies (Maus, Type 5) – the DPM is still FAR WORSE and the alpha is worse than the Czech tanks which have INFINTELY better DPM and gun handling, and the alpha and aim time is still FAR WORSE than the Light!
The BatChat is in NO WAY like the AMX 50b and if they make my favorite tank, a BALANCED tank useless, I am just done with this game. It sometimes FEELS like the Developers are intent on driving LONG TIME (6 YEARS here) players away from the game…
First it was OP prems, now it is the Super Heavies at tier 10 as well, well just the Maus and Type 5 really – all making the game NOT FUN TO PLAY at tiers 6 to 10!
I mean it isn’t like the BatChat is hard to deal with! It already can BARELY take a few hits, and its gun handling REQUIRES sitting still to have any half decent chance at hitting the same post code as where you aimed! I am fine with the draw backs of its current design, that is what keep it balanced. But THIS?? This will make it worthless and pointless!
Yeah even the Skoda has FAR superior 310 pen HEAT! That is the LOWEST pen Premium round on any tier X medium BTW!
So yeah let’s nerf JUST THE BATCHAT in ways that will make it useless… I swear to god WG, are your devs ******ed or do they WANT 6 year Veteran Players like myself to sell all their premiums for gold (to buy prem time for WOWS which I still love) – or even more drastic measures.
And Skoda, has 2.8k DPM, FAR BETTER gun handling – far better aim time, infintely better inter shell time, the only real drawback is size!
BatChat is one the FEW truly balanced, yet still strong tanks in the game at this point. And it has always been my favorite as it is intense to play. I either do well or fail miserably, rarely in between, but I almost always ENJOY playing it!
I keep 1 clip worth of HEAT currently, and rarely touch it. If they do this to my BatChat I am done with this game totally after 6 years now.

Ha ha ha ha good one WG ! Wait… April’s fool’s has already p***ed ? WTF IS THIS MADNESS. BC is a very challenging tank to play Wich is why only good players play it and thus get good games. If one gets clipped by a BC he is the only one to blame not the perfect balance of the BC. Plus if these dumb idiots have ever played the BC they will note that clipping a full tank is EXTREMELY difficult and requires VERY STUPID enemies.

That is exactly what I said. Though I still love WOWS, so I will need to change the name on one of my accounts.
Well it is OBVIOUS that they have neither played the BatChat 25t nor the AMX 50B if they think they are ANYTHING ALIKE!
So it is safe to ***ume that whoever is responsible for this change has never played the game once in the last 4 years since the BC has been moved to tier 10 – she WAS OP as a tier 9 when I first got her, but not since she was moved to T10.
Now she is a situationally weak as she is strong, a nearly PERFECTLY balanced tank at tier 10 – and the most fun tier 10 there is to play. But WarGaming seems INTENT on breaking what is perfectly fine as it is, and seems to WANT to drive SIX YEAR VETERANS AWAY FROM THEIR GAME!
I pray to any god that might exist that WOWS is under TOTALLY DIFFERENT MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT!
Not trying to be rude here, but are they drunk at wargaming? Who on earth thinks this is a good idea? Bat-chat is a good tank yes, but not OP and requires skill to play well. They (over)buff superheavies and now nerf alpha, clipdamage, cliptime and penetration on bat-chat …… And saying: “you need to flank” is utter bull**** since most games are corridor maps and teams who dont let you flank (i.e. you will run into an invisible TD line). Besides that, bat probably wont even pen most shots square on the Maus’ side now, so ye sounds like a good idea…..
Yet another techtree not worth going higher than tier 9, since tier 9 is basicly the same gun!
This actualy might be the straw that broke the camels back andperhaps it’s time to quit the game for good.
So wargaming, are you actualy trying to kill your own game or what is it you are trying to accomplish with this? (just curious here)
it’s actually funny… the batchat will have the lorraine 40t’s gun with 20 more pen… a ****ing t10 with the same gun as a t8 and the rest of the stats of lorraine and batchat are also pretty similar…
