A new micropatch has landed today and it brought few secrets! New crew styles and possibly a new marathon coming soon?
The first pack of crew styles has been added to the game with the name “Space” or “Cosmos”. Six astronauts or should we say, cosmonauts, will be available to players somewhere near April 12, when the Cosmonauts Day is celebrated. World of Tanks will host an event celebrating the date and these crew styles are part of it.
This astronaut wears one of the first pressure suits, ensuring safety under acceleration, providing protection against drops in pressure, and supplying enough oxygen for respiration. This suit was developed in the U.S. in the mid-1930s.
This cosmonaut wears the SK-1 suit, designed especially for the crews of the Vostok spacecraft. It was used during the first manned spaceflight on April 12, 1961.
This cosmonaut wears the Berkut suit that comes with an integrated life support system, used during the first-ever spacewalk on March 18, 1965.
This astronaut wears the ?7L suit, which NASA used for manned space activities and during Apollo 11’s Moon landing mission in July 1969.
This astronaut wears the ACES suit (Advanced Crew Escape Suit) that was used by American Space Shuttle crews for launch, docking, undocking, and landing. It is unsuitable for extravehicular activities.
This cosmonaut wears the Orlan, a space suit for extravehicular activity. It was used for the first time on December 20, 1977, and its modified version is still worn by cosmonauts on the ISS.
A new marathon will soon be coming to World of Tanks and this time, it’s an American one! The Premium tank destroyer TS-5 will be available for players for free if all 10 stages of the marathon are completed. At least these are the claims from WOT Express, and with the files found in the game, it’s pretty much confirmed it will be coming. No further details for now.
