[UPD2] Japanese TDs Introductory Event: Path of the Ninja (Earn New Camos/Styles and a Premium Tank!)

The new branch of Japanese tank destroyers has just arrived in the game, and to kick things off, a new in-game event has begun to help introduce them: “Path of the Ninja”, with numerous rewards including new 2D styles/camouflage patterns and a premium tank! However, even though this event does center around the new Japanese TDs, only one of the four daily missions requires driving them to complete — the rest can be achieved in any tier IV-X vehicles in your garage! Check out all the details of the event’s conditions and rewards in this article.
Learn the art of the famed warriors who hide from sight and strike from the shadows. And there’s no better teacher than a line of new Japanese tank destroyers! Don’t miss this chance to engage in simple, yet challenging missions and earn unique items, including a Premium tank and the brand-new Ninja 2D style!
This event will take place from 3-10 May 2023, and will involve both a special portal page and a repeatable set of four (4) daily missions.
Here’s a brief overview:
- Collect Training Scrolls by completing missions and exchange them for rewards in the dedicated in-game store.
- The event has 7 destinations, and a new location is revealed every day on the web portal. To access each location, click on the newest vehicle on the page, and get a free Training Scroll (once per-day):
- Four (4) daily missions are available during the event; completing each one rewards you with Training Scrolls.
- The first three (3) of these missions are available to complete in any vehicles from tier IV-X, while the last one is only available to complete while playing any of the new 🇯🇵

- Earn additional Training Scrolls via Twitch Drops by watching your favorite streamers from May 5 at 15:00 CEST through May 8 at 15:00 CEST (UTC+2)!
- The map with vehicles is updated from May 3 to May 10. Battle missions are available from May 3 to May 10. The in-game store is available from May 3 to May 17.
Daily Missions (3-10 May)
As mentioned above, there will be a total of four (4) missions, which can each be completed once per-day (up to 7 times each over the course of the event). Each mission will yield Training Scrolls on completion, which can be used to redeem your personalized rewards — more on those below.
Total Earnable (Free) Scrolls
As there are 8 Training Scrolls available to earn for every day of the 7-day-long event period, it will be possible to earn 56 Training Scrolls from the missions + 7 Scrolls from the portal page’s daily codes. 1 Scroll will be given for free (to unlock the shop interface in-game), and 10 additional Scrolls will be available via the 5-8 May Twitch Drops, meaning a total of 74 Training Scrolls can be earned. This means that it will actually be possible to receive the premium tank for free! More on this below.
The first three (3) missions can be completed in any tier IV-X vehicles:
1. Training Scroll: Focus
- Be among the top 10 on your team by base XP earned.
1 Training Scroll- Once per day
- Only in Tier IV-X vehicles
- Only in Random Battles
2. Training Scroll: Strength
- Be among the top 8 on your team by base XP earned twice.
2 Training Scrolls- Only available after completing Training Scroll: Focus
- Once per day
- Only in Tier IV-X vehicles
- Only in Random Battles
3. Training Scroll: Discipline
- Be among the top 5 on your team by base XP earned twice.
2 Training Scrolls- Only available after completing Training Scroll: Strength
- Once per day
- Only in Tier IV-X vehicles
- Only in Random Battles
The final daily mission can only be completed in the new Japanese tank destroyers:
4. Training Scroll: Justice
- Cause 3,000 HP of damage over any number of battles.

Twitch Drops
From May 5 at 15:00 CEST through May 8 at 15:00 CEST (UTC+2), tuning into any participating Twitch channels can earn you up to 10 Training Scrolls!
For 90 minutes:

For 240 minutes:
- 4 Training Scrolls
Rewards
Quite a few interesting rewards are up for grabs as part of this event, including several new 
2D styles, 
camouflage patterns, and even a premium tank (if you so choose): the V 🇯🇵

As mentioned above, there are a total of 67 possible Training Scrolls to be earned, so choose your rewards wisely!
*NOTE: Some of these camo patterns have been made available for sale at least once previously (albeit, the white/red camos may not have been?), but this appears to be the first time they have been made available for free.
Although the daily missions are fairly simple to complete, it will also be possible to purchase the three new styles in premium shop bundles if you wish.
As mentioned above, the Path of the Ninja event will start this Wednesday, 3 May 2023 (once Update 1.20.1 has released for all WoT regions), and will run for a week (until next Wednesday, 10 May 2023). The in-game rewards shop will remain available until Wednesday, 17 May 2023.
