Historical background

Lambros Kastonis is based on an early design of light cruiser from 1929 called “Design E”. This design was armed with six 5.5-inch (140 mm) guns. It was abandoned along the line but was a step towards the creation of the Leander-class of light cruisers.

Lambros is quite a faithful depiction of the design as far as I can see which is quite appreciable.

In World of Warships, just like the rest of the Pan-European gunboat destroyers, this ship has no access to AP shells but is equipped with a Surveillance Radar.

The Armor

Personal Opinion

Right now, despite the tragic loss of the AP shells, Lambros still looks like a pretty strong gunboat destroyer. While the range is a bit limited, she has great firepower, combined with the Surveillance Radar to slap enemy destroyers.

The only real downsides are the horrible concealment, short-duration Smoke Generator, and the weak torpedoes.
