World of Warships Supertest 0.7.3: US Cruisers Changes
4 min readWorld of Warships Update 0.7.2 is almost ready to hit the live server and Supertest 0.7.3 information is already being shared by Wargaming. The announced US Cruiser changes will start testing in the next Supertest iteration, but don’t expect this to come out on Update 0.7.3, as tests usually tank a long time.
More detailed information about each one of these ships will be published later, as soon as it’s available, but for now, you can see what is planned to happen.
Dear captains!
Let us bring some clarity to the situation with the down- and up-tiered American ships’ stats. As you’ve noticed, they are hardly corrected for their relevant tiers.
But let us assure you, that they’re going to begin getting balanced very soon, and the stats will be modified depending on their new tiers.
We’d like to apologize for causing this confusion. When the actual new numbers become available, we will be sure to share them with you.

What bout Worcester?
No details have been shared on it yet, might be later this week, or even later than that. I’ll publish as soon as they are known.
Ex-Cleveland starts ST on tier VIII with stats from tier VI ? lol
From WOWS Developers just released: “Dear captains!
Let us bring some clarity to the situation with the down- and up-tiered American ships’ stats. As you’ve noticed, they are hardly corrected for their relevant tiers.
But let us ***ure you, that they’re going to begin getting balanced very soon, and the stats will be modified depending on their new tiers.

You sure have me confused – you have two tier 8’s (Cleveland AKA Columbia, moving from tier 6 to 8, and the Baltimore AKA Pittsburgh moving from tier 9 to 8. You have the Buffalo moving one tier down to tier 9, I guess this is the Des Moines but you do not say, and there is no tier 10 mentioned. This needs clarification.
As to gun ranges, looks like the Cleveland’s range in UNCHANGED. Are they SERIOUS? 13.3 km. base range and 14.6 when upgraded, and you are going to see tier 9/10!!!! No idea if the gun arcs will be the same too. This just guts the Cleveland. Plus the Baltimore moves down to tier 8 and is to have worse gun range than the New Orleans which it replaces (New Orleans base gun range is 14.7 and the Baltimore’s will be 14.4 in tier 8).
This was published by WG, and today they said they made a mistake and will update the stats soon lol I’ve already updated the article too.
The base ranges of the CAs seem to be quite low.
Actually, the Buffalo isn’t the Des Moines. The Des Moines will stay at Tier 10. The Buffalo is a different ship, think of it as a Baltimore with one extra turret…
don’t know if you were around for the supertests, but Cleveland was originally tier 8 and was a lot different. also they are changing the stats, he just doesn’t know them yet.
and torpedo tubes!
“American cruiser Buffalo, will be moved one tier down” this sentence in the article is wrong. The Buffalo is a new ship, it cant move one Tier down.
The Buffalo once entered the supertest as a tier 10 prem…
Then how did the Cleveland end up at tier 6 at initial release?
