World of Tanks: Updated List of Prohibited Mods

Wargaming has finally agreed to update their list of prohibited mods and some very common ones will soon be motive to ban. So you aren’t caught unaware, check if you use any of the following mods and remove them as soon as possible, as the new Fair Play Policy rules will come into force on 1st of June.

Updated the List of Prohibited Mods

1. Showing the direction of guns on the minimap

2. Displaying arrows to the closest opponents

3. Marking adversaries beyond the draw distance (using red columns, spheres, etc.)

As mentioned, if you use any of these mods, remove them as soon as possible as Wargaming will ban your account if you are using them after the 1st of June. The next ban wave will be coming out soon, but it won’t take these mods into account just yet, but at least Wargaming took a first step and used common sense to acknowledge these mods give an unfair advantage to all of its users.

  1. They should remove them from THEIR mod site if they’re illegal smh. The first two are on it, I’ve never heard of the third one.

  2. These mods do not give a huge advantage to those using them.

If these are banned then all in battle mods should be banned..

  3. Ban all accounts who uses illegal mods or any mods for that fact. I didn’t use battle mods for 2-3 years now and I am doing just fine without it, came to conclusion that it makes your game worst paying attention to them instead of doing more dmg. Only mod that I am still using it is autoequip binocle and net in garage. I don’t miss any of all mods I used in fact I am way happy witout them.

    1. you said “Ban all accounts who uses illegal mods or any mods for that fact.” so how about u ban yourself since you also said “Only mod that I am still using it is autoequip binocle and net in garage”… I can’t stand people that think everybody should do as they do or they are cheaters.. typical hypocrites..
