World of Tanks Supertest: L6/40 – Tier II Italian Light

2 min read

The second Italian Tier II tank, an alternative to the M14/41, will be the L6/40.  Developed by Fiat-Ansaldo in the second half of the 30s, it was adopted in 1940, but only began to arrive in 1942. The tank was actively used on all fronts where Italian troops were present. According to some records, 283 vehicles were produced, but other sources claim by September 1943, 440 tanks were built.
