The 14TP was a Polish medium cruiser tank project that was never completed due to the start of World War II. The project began in 1938, the tank was built off the 10TP design and was to significantly improve the performance and quality of medium tanks. The thickness of the armour on either side would have no less than 35mm and the tank could mount two types of guns: 37 mm Bofors Cannon or a new 47 mm gun. It was also planned to have improved speed with a more powerful 12 cylinder engine that would be capable of 300 to 400 hp.
By the end of 1938 about 60% of the work as completed and in March 1939 the first tests were planned to start. Unfortunately, the two units built were defective and tests continued until September 1939 when the Second World War started and plans fell into German hands.
