World of Tanks: Halloween arrives tomorrow!

1 min read

It’s almost here, World of Tanks will be receiving a micropatch tomorrow, 18 October 2018 and with it, Halloween PvE mode will be introduced!

Dark Front is a Co-Op PvE mode where five players team up and fight forces of evil! A fast-paced action mission, take control of an MT-25 and explore the Underworld!

This year Halloween event will be a testing ground for the possibility of introducing PvE mission to the game. These might be closer than we think, with the recent introduction of bots, for low tier battles, in the North American region, we soon could see a brand new permanent PvE mode in the game. What do you think?

  1. Even in a PvE mode, we’ll still be fighting with/against bots, so how does that change anything? ?

xD Jokes aside… I’m really looking forward to this one.

  2. Lol, good point 🙂 I have to say I am very curious about PvE missions. Something fresh@new is more than welcome!

  3. I would just hope they don’t do like WoWS and have such PVE operations exclusive only to certain tiers. It’d be nice to be able to play any tier in them.
I don’t play WoWS even remotely as close as much as I have WoT, I don’t even have a tier’d ship to DO their operations yet =\

  4. Pve will end the game. If you can grind a line playing against bots why bother playing against players in random?
The result will be less and less players in random and moore and moore problems because of stupid mm rules and less and less players.

  5. Maybe we will get Historical battles back, as now versus bots we can actually play 🙂 Before, no one wanted to play the lower tier tanks, etc.

  6. Looking on the official post on the wot page the rewards seems very underwhelming when you compare it with how awesome the halloween even was last year and the rewards were amazing aswell, FeelsBadMan

  7. If that happens, it’s easy to solve that issue.

Ranked Battles are like an event, as an example… So we could have special PvE events occasionally, for example, during the week when a real-life tank battle occured in WW2, etc…

It opens up more possibilities, and diversifies the gameplay a bit.

  8. WoT Console has PvE and they made it so you don’t get much xp and credits in it. It is better to play random battles than PvE for grinding xp and credits.
