4 min readReady for Winter? If not, how about a marathon to warm your socks off and as a reward for completing this challenge you get a brand-new Premium Tier VIII Soviet tank destroyer, the SU-130PM.
Just like the previous Caernarvon AX marathon, if you manage to complete all ten stages you can get your hands on the tank for free, but if you don’t have the time to complete it all, each stage gives you a 10% discount on the final price, so you can still grab this nice Premium tank destroyer for a fair price.
How to participate
Get ready to play Random Battles from 30 November and unlike the British Challenge, you only have 10 days to complete all stages, instead of 14.
To complete a stage, you will have to fulfil a mission by either using your skill or by grinding experience, you just need to complete the Mastery or the Commitment parameters, meaning you can choose to complete one stage with a Mastery and another with the Commitment.
To try your skills you will have to play Tier X vehicles only, but even if you fail to complete the mission any experience earned on these vehicles will count for the Commitment total.
If you decide to go for the hard grind, remember that you will have to earn 253,000 base experience, that’s a hopping 25,300 base experience per day. Now it’s down to you to decide if you want the tank for free or just some nice rewards for any amount of stages you can complete!

If you find you’re running out of time to complete the missions, the tank will be available in the Premium Shop with a 10% discount for each stage you’ve completed. For example, completing 7 out of 10 stages will knock 70% off the price.

It’s 25.300 base XP per day. That’s 5.300 XP more than the Caravan AX challenge which was 20.000 base XP per day.
Looks like Wargaming found that too many players got tanks for free during the last marathons, so they have stepped up requirements on the sly.
How long after the contest is finished will you be able to buy the tank. After all it is christmas!
