Tank Wars: Team T29 versus Team IS
3 min readTank Wars returns in 2022 with two classic heavy tanks. Choose Team 
VII
T29 for discounts along the American Tech Tree, or team up with the 
VII
IS and its comrades to explore the Soviet line. Both sides receive the same discounts and are tasked with the same set of missions.
Complete them to collect Tank Wars Points and unlock Stage Rewards. The seven Stages are the same for both teams and are filled with plenty of prizes, including days of WoT Premium Account, exclusive crew skins, and a 2D style!
The simplification of missions and the increase of Stages to seven, introduced in the last round of Tank Wars, will remain. But we are bringing back a competitive element: the Tank Wars Challenge!

Event Summary
- Complete repeatable missions to earn
Tank Wars Points and unlock Stage Rewards. - Pick up increasingly rare and valuable items with seven Stage Rewards—it all depends on your Personal Progression.
- Take advantage of credit discounts on Tech Tree vehicles of the nations of the Hero tanks—ideal if you’re a new commander or don’t have a well-stocked Garage.
- Sign up for two Tank Wars Challenges and compete for a spot in the top 10 to earn additional rewards.
- Earn Tank Wars Points with guaranteed Twitch Drops to make sure you safely reach Stage Reward milestones.
- Optional: Purchase Tank Wars Support Packages that include great Premium vehicles and Tank Wars Points for instant access to Stage Rewards.
Join a Team
- Log in to the game.
- Click the DEPOT at the top of the screen, then select HOMEFRONT SUPPLIES.
- Select TANK WARS.
- Choose your team: Team T29 or Team IS.
Missions
Available from January 17 at 06:00 CET through January 24 at 06:00 CET (UTC+1). Missions are only available once you have selected a team in-game. Completing missions will reward you with Tank Wars Points, which will go towards your Personal Progression.

Tech Tree vehicles belonging to the nations of the two Hero tanks will be discounted throughout the event. This is a great opportunity to grab some bargains if you don’t currently own them!
