Supertest: Strv K Returns to Supertest!

2 min read

The Tier IX Swedish STRV K heavy tank is returning to the closed Supertest after a year. This vehicle was previously more of a support vehicle, but now the STRV K has turned into a classic heavy tank. Its gameplay will be a fusion between the M103 and T-10. Most tankers will like the STRV K and be able to achieve good results in it.

The gun has become more comfortable due to the higher armour penetration of its standard and special shells (252 mm and 310 mm respectively). Gun accuracy has increased to 0.34 at 100 m. Aiming time has also increased to 2.3 seconds. The vehicle dynamics have also become better due to improved specific power (16.4 h.p./t), but its hull traverse speed has decreased to 30 deg/s.

  1. They need to remove the radio operator from this tank already. A 4-crew HT for Sweden would be awkward enough, since all of the existing Swedish heavies are autoloaders with 3 crew. But a 5-crew heavy for Sweden is just stupid. Actually it’s kinda stupid for this to be an HT at all rather than a medium.

  2. this Frankentank looks balanced. medium tak gun, mediocre speed, mediocre armor, good at hulldown. I like balanced for a change.
Probably will be labeled as “trash” after so many years of powercreeping and the release of so many “OP russian premium of the month”
