Supertest: Pz.Kpfw. 35 R German Light Tank

2 min read

A new Tier II German light tank entered Supertest: Pz.Kpfw. 35 R. Yet another real field modification vehicle is put into Supertest, there is only a single photo of this vehicle and its origin is unknown. There is no official German designation for this vehicle, so the name Pz.Kpfw. 35 R is not official.

Its damage per shot is 55 HP, and it can penetrate armor up to 50 mm with a standard AP shell and up to 78 mm with a special AP shell. The gun has an accuracy of 0.48, a loading time of 2.8 s, and an aiming time of 2.8 s. The engine power is 82 h.p., with a power-to-weight ratio of 7.7 h.p./t, and can reach a top speed of 23 km/h.

The vehicle is likely to be an exclusive for Holiday Ops 2022, coming this December but the information is yet to be confirmed. More details as soon as possible.

All characteristics are with a crew trained to 100% and subject to change before the final release.

  1. IIRC, in addition to the single German field conversion, there were a couple dozen more done by Romania. The original prototype using a T-26 turret while the rest enlarging the existing R35 turret to fit the 45mm 20K gun.
