World of Tanks Update 1.7 will bring four new vehicles, one of them is a Premium and all of them feature a new mechanic: double-barrel guns. Out of all these vehicles, only the Tier VIII IS-2-II was still waiting for the Supertest trial.
The vehicle will branch out the KV-3 and players will need about 65,000 experience to unlock it. The stock guns will be a massive pain if you don’t have the free experience to unlock the best ones. As a stock, the IS-2-II will feature dual 85mm D-5TD guns, a Tier VI gun with abysmal stats to face Tier VIII or above. Featuring a penetration of only 120mm with AP and 161 with APCR, a horrendous reload time of 13 seconds, players will have a really bad time with it. The dual 100mm S-34D should make it more playable but the final verdict will only be known once we get a chance to test it.

You can mount TWO gun rammers! /s Honnestly with 350 viewrange she’s gonna have Optics-rammer-stabs, If she cant have rammer it’s gonna be Optics-Vents-stabs for the extra viewrange.

the 85mm is called the D-5TD, so it should be like the D-5T which has a 144/194 pen. the 120/161 is the F-30 so if they keep it they should rename it the F-30D.

How do you know these tanks will come in 1.7? Wot express claimed they wouldn’t make it until the update after 1.7 because of how late the IS-2-II entered Supertest.

Italian tanks had Supertest a couple of weeks before the update was released, so no big deal. WOT Express said they are planned for this update unless something goes wrong and gets postponed for the first update of 2020. Also, I confirmed with my own sources.
