[UPDATED] Auction 2023 Day 4: FV215b (183)

1 min read

To start off, yesterday’s offer (VIII 🇮🇹:MTelite:Progetto 46 Mars) is reported to have sold at a minimum of around :free_xp:262,000 free XP on 🌏 ASIA. Meanwhile on 🇪🇺 EU, the vehicle is reported to have reached a minimum bid somewhere around :gold:23,456 gold(!), and while 🇺🇸 NA’s minimum winning bid is not exactly known (seems to be somewhere in the 13-15k gold range), the vehicle hit a competitive bid of :gold:17,500 gold just before the auction ended.

The fourth vehicle from the ongoing auction event has been confirmed on ASIA: X 🇬🇧:TDelite:FV215b (183)!

This marks another opportunity for players to pick up the legendary “death star”, a tier 10 British tank destroyer befitting of its title.

The starting bid for this vehicle is set at :free_xp:175,000 free XP across all regions.

Quantities:

  • 🌏 ASIA: 2,000 vehicles
  • 🇪🇺 EU: 20,000 vehicles
  • 🇺🇸 NA: 3,000 vehicles

As a reminder, this auction offer will come to a close close at the following times per-region:

  • 🌏 ASIA: 23:00 (UTC+8)
  • 🇪🇺 EU: 23:00 CET (UTC+1)
  • 🇺🇸 NA: 18:00 PST (UTC−8)
China-exclusive Day 4 Auction Offer: K-91-2

Interestingly, this is the first day where the 🇨🇳 CN region’s offer differs from the rest: their auction instead features the brand-new IX :flag_ussr_wot::MTelite:K-91-2 with a special :2dst: 2D style, at a starting bid of :bonds:12,500 bonds. This offer is for the 🇨🇳 Chinese game region ONLY.

  1. FYI – I have no idea what the min. bid for the Mars on NA server was, but with a few min left I raised my bid to 16,750 and got one.

  2. Frankly, I cannot really say for sure — from what I have heard, EU’s is currently sitting at a compe***ive bid above 300k, while NA’s is somewhere in the neighborhood of 250k. I expect both will rise by the time the offers end as well.

It MIGHT be worth setting an early bid (as remember, if there are many winners at the same lowest bid, then only the earliest ones will receive a vehicle) somewhere in the neighborhood of 250k free XP FOR NOW (dependent your game region/how badly you want it), then checking back closer to the end and adjusting dependent on how much higher the comp bid has risen. (I do not know what to expect for EU’s comp bid, but given the interest surrounding this vehicle, it might potentially rise by a fair bit…)

Also, regardless of what you bid, make sure you do NOT bid in round numbers — instead, end them in somewhat-random numbers, i.e. 12,834, 93,949, 253,753, etc (NOT suggesting these exact bid amounts [hopefully obvious, since it’s impossible to bid below 175k], but you get the idea). Might give a slightly better chance of getting one, if a bunch of people bid around the same number below yours (i.e. if a whole bunch of people bid at 250,000, 250,001+ would have a higher chance, etc).

EDIT: Min bid on ASIA (with only 2,000 vehicles) is reported to be around 400,100 free XP. Might be worth keeping in mind

  3. I have heard some accounts around 14-15k winning (Mars), but some losing at/slightly-above 13k. Updated the post to reflect these numbers.
