World of Tanks Supertest: Object 279(e) Changes

1 min read

The second set of Personal Missions has just barely arrived and Wargaming doesn’t seem happy with its new Doom Machine Object 726 279(e). The tank as entered a new Supertest phase to try and buff and some minor changes were done to it for now.

  • Gold Price changed from 100 to 22,500
  • Upper front armour changed from 170 to 185 mm
  • Side armour changed from 130 to 120 mm
  • Frontal turret armour changed from 300 to 330 mm

These changes might not make it to the live server, but with overall complicated missions players will have to complete in order to get it, can Wargaming be creating yet another myth status tank for the elites?

  1. They can do whatever they want to it really, it’s completely made up. The ACTUAL Obj. 279 would never be possible to balance, so they just make up a vehicle loosely inspired by it.

  2. WG didn’t make this tank up at all. This tank’s real name was the Object 726.

  3. Nop, what WG calls Object 279 early is in fact Object 726, a different project that was actually a compe***ion design of 279. A hull was build if I’m not wrong.

  4. “The changes might not make it to the live server”

The changes are on the live server right now, according to tanks.gg.

  5. The tank and the personal missions for it are not avaiable yet publically, they can revert the changes in a micropatch or modify it even further depending on the tests.

  6. I’ve never seen not heard of the 726. I’ll ask my Russian friend about it and see what he knows.
