World of Tanks Supertest: 50TP Prototype Changes

2 min read

Supertest continues to check and test a few changes to the upcoming Polish Premium heavy tank. Unfortunately, due to my ever so busy schedule, I’ve missed this information a few days ago, but I’ve gathered it all now so I can share it with you.

Czolg T wz51

The first change you will notice is the name of the tank, it changed from Czolg T wz51 to 50TP Prototype. The reasons are most probably to make easier to identify with the upcoming Polish branch, keeping all names similar and simple.

Second changes came in the form of rebalancing, mostly its gun parameters, forcing the tank down a note. Here’s the full list of changes:

 Damage per Minute
 2,039 (HP/m)
1,939 (HP/m)
 Reload Time12.95 (s)
13.62 (s)
Rate of Fire4.64 (rpm)4.41 (rpm)
 Accuracy0.3640.384
 Aim Time2.68 (s)2.88 (s)

 on Vehicle Traverse0.211 (?)0.23 (?)
 on Vehicle Full Speed Moving7.38 (?)8.05 (?)
 on Vehicle Full Speed Traversing8.02 (?)8.75 (?)

I’m curious to test this vehicle and see how it performs, at the moment it seems in line with the regular upcoming Polish heavy tanks, but while it might perform OK for its tier, the real test will be against Tier IX and X.

  1. I wonder if they’ll have another sort of marathon like with the Italian meds, where we could earn this tank. ?

I doubt it, but it would be nice.

  2. it would be just a discount marathon nothing for f2p players…so better dont in this way -,-

  3. The Italian Premium tank was free to get, if you had the time to grind or skill to do it… So there is a chance of getting it, if not, you would get a “decent” discount for the whole bundle. It’s OK to run it like that, not bad imho.

  4. cl***ic wargaming, instead of nerfing many other things lets nerf gun so we can miss more shots and make gaming experience more fun, what can be more fun than missing your shots constantly

  5. like you said..”if you had time or skill to do this”…wich unfortunately, eliminated 85% of playerbase because missions was hard and time too short..
Thats why was just a discount “marathon”. Kinda oposite with the definition of a marathon…
Only nonlifers was able to get it free and maybe few others..but only few.
I agree too with this type of event..but never with that difficulty.

  6. Bucifel, I don’t agree. I got the progetto days before the deadline ended. True, I had some intense days but if you pick the tanks right and play to the strong ones (as base hp was measured) it was VERY achievable. I got it for free. Think of it, there HAS to be some threshold, otherwise everyone would get it free and there’s no business in that.
