The design of this vehicle began in the end of 1940, however, due to problems finding an appropriate engine, the first prototype of the tank was only ready in the beginning of 1942. Mass production began in 1943 in Turin. After the surrender of Italy in the Autumn of 1943, the tank was adopted by the Germans under the name Panzerkampfwagen P40 737 (i) and was used in secondary units. A total of 100 units were produced. The tank will be introduced as a Tier IV vehicle in World of Tanks.

Tank Nut and Gamer Wannabe! Huge fan of tanks and World War II history. Playing video games since I was six years old, from Streets of Rage on my Sega Mega Drive to World of Tanks, I’ve never stopped since and will always love games.
