Improvements to the Matchmaker

  • The improvements to the matchmaker will ensure more even distribution among the battle types enabled by players (Standard Battle, Attack/Defense, Encounter Battle, Grand Battle). The battle type selector will consider the history of the player’s previous battles. The Grand Battles will not come in a succession.

Improvements to the Vehicle Customization

  • The lower panel of the customization interface will contain the Applied sign for elements that are applied to the vehicle.
  • Increased the clickable spots for the Emblems and Inscriptions.

Changes to the Ranked Battles

Changes in the new season:

  • Now a season will last 21 days and is not divided into stages
  • Increased the number of ranks from 5 to 15
  • Reworked the conditions of earning chevrons:
    • The top 10 players on the winning team and the top player on the losing team will receive 1 chevron
    • The top 3 players on the winning team will receive 1 additional chevron
    • Players who took places 11-15 on the winning team and places 2-5 on the losing team will retain a chevron
    • Players who took places 6-15 on the losing team will lose a chevron
  • Added new functionality: rank shield. Some ranks will be “shielded”. The shield will have a particular number of durability points that will be deducted after a defeat or victory (if the player enters the prize zone).
  • Reworked the interface of the main screen in the Ranked Battles for proper display of information about 15 ranks
  • Reworked the interface of the rewards for the ranks and season. It can be entered from the main screen and includes:
    • Information about the rewards for each rank
    • Information about the rewards for the season
  • Changed the art of the vehicle ranks: they were replaced with the rank points. The principle of earning rank points remained unchanged.
  • Removed the display of the vehicle ranks from the vehicle panel; the vehicle ranks were replaced with rank points in the vehicle statistics.
  • Reworked the progress interface of vehicle ranks: upon reaching the maximum rank players will be able to see the number of the earned rank points in the Garage.

Improvements to the Stronghold Mode

  • In Skirmishes and Advances, the battle room commander can select a player who will use the Combat Reserves (Airstrike and Artillery Strike); it can be any player of the detachment, including the legionnaires. The player becomes the Forward Observer and uses the reserves in battle.

  1. The buffs to the SU-100M1 and SU-101 are really good. More gun depression and gun arc is always welcome along with more armor and health… Too bad the removal of any form of accuracy will completely destroy the tank

The Obj 263 will become unplayable and the only thing the Obj 268 Ver 4 has is ridiculously unhistorical armor to force it’s way into tier 10 where it too won’t be able to hit **** because of its god awful accuracy…

Guess I’m going to be sell some tanks to try to reduce my credit loss as much as possible

  2. Yes but these are russian tanks so you need to look at the soft stats before ***uming poor accuracy. have a look at the Claus Kellerman youtube video where he compares a leopard and a KV2 accuracy over 400 metres. No difference at all but the KV2 has supposedly the poorest gun and the Leopard the best.

  3. Accuracy is actually the minor problem compared to the m***ive DPM and mobility nerfs. WG is turning the playstyle of those tanks upside down.

  4. dispersion on the move is affected by top speed as well, it’s like how a MT will have worse accuracy when on the move then a T95, not a reliable stat to compare off since unless you’re in a tank that’s got good base accuracy with insane accuracy while moving (like the T92 LT) then it’s pointless.

All the changed TDs have bad base accuracy, unless you aim the shot (hence the improved aim time and armor) you’re more likely to miss and even when you do aim you will still miss weakspots. i see no reason for players to go down this line as “close range brawlers” when the British are better in every way

  5. Again, ranked battles – WG still dont understand that the whole chevron system is just bad. What if on of the top players did 6K dmg, the second did 1000 dmg, and again it is the same reward ? Like WTF???

Why not to just base it on damage + ***isted dmg and that’s it… easy…

  6. While I like the buffs they are giving the SU 100M1 and SU 101, why are they making them so inaccurate?

And that new 122 millimeter for the SU 101 is horrible!

  7. Is anyone on supertest confirming yet if the su12254 is being removed from garages or just tech tree?

  8. What about T-10? Do you get 2 tier 9’s if you have the T-10 on release day?

  9. And unless you have the IS-7 researched (which I don’t) They will steal your experience and crew from the T-10 and force it onto the new Obj. 257. Which i’m quite upset about to be honest.

  10. ok cool, thanks for your reply and im hoping you can confirm this in a more solid way.

WGs wording on this is confusing.

in the “removed vehicles” section you see “obj.430 (tier X) removed”. the “vehicle” hasnt been removed has it? its been MOVED from tier10 to tier9 and owners will keep their vehicle.

thats very very different from “SU-122-54 (Tier IX) removed” deleted from game and owners will have their vehicle replaced…

WG has failed maybe 4 times in a row now to be clear on this. i think you can probs understand why this is an issue because “removed” in the past has mostly meant “removed from the tech tree” and owners of said vehicles have been able to keep their tanks in some way or another.

if you have your journalistic evidence to say “su-122-54 will actually be totally removed, unlike the other “removed” vehicles that are only changing tier” i think the community would appreciate that you bring this clarity.

  11. How is nerfing the SU 100M1’s reload from 5.9 s to a WHOPPING 7.1 s a buff?

  12. Still not quite sure whether the guys in charge of the balancing of these vehicles have already figured out that the latter don’t have turrets and therefore suck as the heavy tanks they try to turn them into.
