World of Tanks Supertest: T-44 Lightweight Details

2 min read

Development started in 1943, the design received an upgrade after the trials of the prototype. Third generation prototype, a T-44A model was build in August 1944 and the trials continued, the hull upper front armour thickness was increased to 90 mm and the turret front armour thickness was increased to 120 mm. Even though it was more heavily armoured, the weight went down to 30.7 tonnes.

If the T-44 Lightweight is introduced to the game, it will be the first Premium Tier VIII light tank for the Soviet Nation. No further details on when it’s going to be released, but the tank has entered final test stages.

Please Note: All details are from Supertest and are subject to change. Values presented are with 100% Crew without Skills/Perks and Equipment.

  1. Looks pretty mediocre. But considering its not a new tier 8 heavy thats not surprising, good premiums are reserved for heavies only. And maybe TDs.

  2. Those values are what it comes from the game files, of course they are subject to change 😉 You can actually see these tanks in the 9.21 CT.

  3. Compared to normal tier 8 it’s medic..

Now compare this to other tier 8 lights….especially in strongholds etc. Other than maybe black dog this thing will decimate.

  4. I looked for the new prems in the CT through the comparison feature in-game and I didn’t find the ELC EVEN, T-44 ltwt., or the AwfulPanther. Why? It’s a CT, not supertest 🙁 However, I found the “Caernarvon X” and the “Alpine Tiger” WZ-111 and now I really REALLY want that Tiger WZ-111, IT’S AMAZING! Black paint with a silver tiger on each side, and they’re not just a paint scheme, they’re part of the armor, 3D modelled into the turret and side armor. Absolutely beautiful tank.

  5. You can see those vehicles, but you need a mod that shows all the tanks that aren’t suposed to be seen yet.

  6. It’s obvious they’ll make this tank great otherwise it won’t make them much monetas and really, what’s the point of buying ****ty premiums?

  7. So you can complain its ****? Or either compain that is OP 😀 What else? 🙂

  8. It’s simple really, WG makes this a great tank and they get a lot of complainers and a lot of monetas. If they don’t make this a great tank they just get a lot of complaints. Pretty simple choice if you ask me.

  9. Meanwhile, ELC EVEN 90 has 1.3k DPM. Not bias’ed at all with 2.3k DPM this T-44 ltw.

Btw, Harkonnen, any updates in the T-10 stuff. I saw a few days you saying there would be some announcements about it soon. Define “soon” :p

  10. ELC dpm is fine for a small autoloader. Think outside of the box, and look at the camo values… at tier 8-10 you won’t spot it unless you are 100m from it. Wrek high tier games.
