World of Tanks Wins Golden Joystick Awards
1 min readToday sees the 35th annual Golden Joysticks Awards, the globe’s greatest celebration of lovely games. The event took place in London, but geography wasn’t a barrier to anyone who wanted to participate. World of Tanks was participating in the “Still Playing” category at this year’s Golden Joysticks Awards, and the winner was announced at five o’clock this afternoon.
World of Tanks has won its 3rd Golden Joystick, gaining the most votes in the “Still Playing” category!
To celebrate we get from 18 November at 06:00 to 20 November, double experience for every victory, if you are placed in the top 10 of your team by base XP earned. This bonus is restricted to Random Battles only, vehicles of Tier IV or higher and the First Victory of the day bonus needs to be used up.
Yay! Double xp for every win?? Talk about making the grind to the Deathstar so much easier!
Renting Russian bot farms to farm votes….. Shame. Shame. Shame.
I’m not a bot, but voted for WoT. I think: if I vote, Wargaming could use the marketing of this award to improve somehow the game (how they will do that, I don’t know), since at least a more visibility of the game could make the players base increase. And this is a good thing, I’ll bet on it 🙂
Rent outdated bots like you to farm hates…. Shame. Shame. Shame.
