World of Tanks Supertest: T71 CMCD Details & US LT Changes
2 min readWhile we still wait for Update 9.20, Supertest is already preparing Update 9.20.1. Previous announced information was the introduction of T71 CMCD as a regular Tier VII and the division of the American Light Tank line into two.
Together with this introduction, other changes will also come to a couple other vehicles: T71 and M41 Walker Bulldog. These changes will hopefully bring more consistency to the American Light Tank branch play-style.
Main Changes
- Branches will be split into a normal cyclic guns ending in the Sheridan, and the other with autoloader guns ending in the T57 Heavy.
- Removed transaction between branches at Tier VII.
- T71 renamed T71 DA and moved to the T57 Heavy branch. The tank kept his autoloader gun.
- T71 CMCD rebalanced and introduced as a regular Tier VII for Sheridan branch.
- M41 Walker Bulldog autoloader 76mm T91E5 gun removed.

Thank god. never should’ve gotten it in the first place either.
I have read a lot of articles about this and it is well covered. Except one thing. The players that currently have the T71, how is it transitioning? Will you get the corresponding tank with the gun you have mounted at the time of the patch? Do you get both? If you get both, what about crew? Will crews be able to use both tanks without skill penalty?
So many questions. Several of my clanmates are asking and no one knows.
T71 CMCD would most likely be a compelitly diferent tank, since in the game files it already exists as a separate tank. So one would think that if you had the normal T71, you would keep it but not get the T71 CMCD. thats one of the reasons im grinding the T71 now to unlock the bulldog. that way i will get the bulldog unlocked by the time this happens
