WZ-111 5A – Chinese Heavy Tank – Initial Stats

1 min read

Hello everyone,

Today the Supertest Server has received a new Tier X Heavy Tank, the Chinese WZ-111 5A. Wargaming says it’s different from other Tier X Heavy Tanks because of it’s armour, agility and high alpha, but in my opinion, aren’t these what makes the IS-7 good? None the less, the vehicle will now enter it’s test phase and stats might change depending on the outcome.

  1. I already hate it. The combination of dpm and high premium pen plus agility plus turret armour plus that it looks like a clan reward so I’ll never going to get it for myself… 😉

  2. Those wer ethe old 83-107mm gun sounds from the WZ, and it said it mounted a 122 in the description, whilst 490 is typical of 128 and 130mm guns, so it’s probably not the same tank.

  3. In 0.8.2 test it had the Chinese copy of the IS-7 gun, same as the 1-4 has as it’s top gun.

  4. Nope. It was the normal tier X Chinese heavy before patch 8.2/8.3. Was deemed too op and way better than IS-7 and got replaced by 113. That or it was a replacement for 113 but was rejected
