Supertest Roundup (23 Feb): Ho-Ni III, Changes to Kpz 3 Pr.07 HK + BZ-58-2, 56TP + Chi-To SP Early Previews
3 min readThis article marks the first of a new series: Supertest Roundup, covering the week’s news regarding vehicles in Supertest! This will feature topics including new vehicles’ first appearances on Supertest, changes to vehicles which have not yet been released, early preview screenshots (whenever they are available) and more, all consolidated into one post (rather than having multiple scattered articles in a day). These are currently planned to be compiled on a semi-weekly basis posted on Thursdays, whenever there is new info from Supertest. (NOTE: Sometimes there are periods without much/any news from Supertest, so there may be breaks in between posts sometimes.)
Today’s edition features news from all three of the categories above: one new vehicle, changes to two upcoming tier IX vehicles, and early previews of two vehicles which arrived on Supertest recently! Without further ado, let’s get into the news:
Upcoming Tech Tree Vehicle: Ho-Ni III
The final vehicle from the upcoming Japanese branch of tank destroyers, V 🇯🇵Ho-Ni III, has arrived on Supertest today!
The vehicle is a light tank destroyer with weak armor with 25mm armor on its hull and a total durability of 420 HP. Its top speed is 40 km/h, and it has a specific power of 16.1 h.p./t.
The TD is armed with a 75 mm gun that can cause 130 HP of damage per shot. Its standard shell penetrates 160 mm of armor. The gun accuracy is 0.34 m withan aiming time of 1.7 s and reload time of 4.1 s.
The vehicle was assembled on the chassis of light tanks, which explains its size and features: the small silhouette will provide good concealment, while its quick-firing and accurate 75 mm gun will let you keep your enemy under heavy fire from a distance. The Ho-Ni III is able to realize its potential when firing from a distance and providing support to its allies.
This marks the final known vehicle from the upcoming branch! The Japanese tank destroyer branch is expected to release sometime in Spring 2023 — stay tuned for more news regarding the release of these vehicles!
