Lunar New Year 2023: Missions, Rewards and Discounts

3 min read

Wishing you a happy and prosperous Year of the Rabbit in World of Tanks!

Get ready for a special set of missions to celebrate the Lunar New Year! Over the next 10 days, completing daily Lunar Celebration Missions will award you Lunar Stamps, which you can be used to redeem a wide variety of in-game goodies — including Personal Reserves, x5 XP missions, :decal: decals, :camouflage: the five (5) special “Wu Xing Element” camouflage patterns, a trio of :2dst: 2D styles! Furthermore, completing at least 8 of the 10 Lunar Celebration Missions on the days of their release will award you with the brand-new :2dst: “Lantern Festival” 2D Style as a bonus!

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to receive the maximum number of Lunar Stamps and earn the unique :2dst: “Lantern Festival” 2D Style, you will have to complete each mission on the days they become available. Missions are able to be completed all at once; however, the maximum rewards can only be received if you complete them on the first day of each mission. One mission will unlock per-day during the first 10 days of the event.

[In-Game] Lunar Celebration Missions

Available: 20 January, 2023 06:00 CET – 1 February, 2023 06:00 CET (UTC+1)

New missions will be released each day for 10 days. They can be completed to earn Lunar Stamps. Use these at the Lunar Homefront Shop (open until 10 February, 06:00 CET (UTC+1)) to redeem this event’s rewards, including:

NOTE: It appears that the Type 62 will only be obtainable if you complete all 10 missions on the days of their release + purchase at least 500 additional Lunar Stamps from premium bundles, as the vehicle costs 2,000 Stamps (whereas it looks like you can only receive up to 1,500 Stamps for free from mission completions). However, everything else is easily obtainable for free. Item costs in Stamps are as follows:

  • Personal Reserves: 75 Stamps each
  • 5 x5 XP missions: 150 Stamps each
  • All Projection Decal bundles: 150 Stamps each
  • All “Wu Xing Element” camouflage pattern bundles: 200 Stamps each
  • All 2D Styles: 450 Stamps each

Since auspicious numbers bring good fortune, completing 8 out of 10 missions on their respective release dates will get you the “Lantern Festival” 2D style. Just in time to celebrate the first full moon of the Lunar Year!

The style will also be available for purchase at the Premium Shop starting from 1 February, 2023.
